BIO

I am a First-Generation Low-Income neuroscientist completing my Postdoc with Dr. Phil Popovich at The Ohio State University. Here, I am investigating neuroimmune interactions following Spinal Cord Injury. I completed my Ph.D. at Emory University, where I investigated microglial-motoneuron interactions in the spinal cord following peripheral nerve injury.

I have a great passion for teaching and mentorship, and I aspire to become an independent academic researcher.
